Today I grabbed an old photo reference and 6 colors, primary red, cad yellow, primary blue, white and black plus burnt umber as my extra choice. 

What I learned:
1 How much I love mixing colors

Working with my hands on cut paper pieces brings me joy, calm and satisfaction. Loved the blue vase but it needed that little pop of yell
I had the weekend to work on a few sketches on Sunday and Monday. Inspired by a local country field scene in the rain. The expanse of it felt like freedom with big skies overhead and distant hills that kept going abd going. So beautiful!
Long rainy holiday weekends. Rest. Caffeinate. Sketch. Snuggle with the paws while reading and watching movies.😆☕️🎨 📚🍿

Spent a chunk of the morning and early afternoon doing a responsive intuitive process. It is a favorite of mine to keep my skills sharp regarding lines, shapes and composition. I was in an orange mood today🧡✂️✏️
