Some paintings are just meant to exude quietness. As we painted these fading blooms at my workshop I noticed the transformation of the ladies who attended. Their fast paced lives were slowed for a while as we studied late summer colors and shapes. Wh

Painting large taught me how to loosen up quick. Using bigger brushes and large areas of color washes helped me to not be so precious about all the minute details. “Fresh as a Daisy” 22”x32”
